I think that most Google+ is going to be a better tool for B2B businesses, because unlike facebook, you are reaching out to businesses not your friends. Since we are trying to promote a forklift business, I find it difficult to market to my friends who do not have a need or interest in forklifts. Excellent post. We recently ran an ad for contractor websites on Facebook in one city and get 3 responses, one of which turned into a client. Excellent ROI indeed.

Great point. Despite how much it increases your likelihood of surviving a serious car accident, it still amazes me that people don’t wear seat belts. Similar to how excuses are made for not wearing proper safety equipment, or cutting corners on protocol, people still make great excuses for why they don’t wear seatbelts. Worried about driving off a bridge and getting trapped in the car…
Unfortunately, some people just don’t like being told what to do, regardless of how it might help them or save their lives.

This can be a particularly vexing problem on construction sites. A worker who smokes their safety consciousness is always suspect. This is similar to the worker who shows up not wearing a seatbelt.
